The Sabre Program
Students will form a preference for either sabre or foil over the course of the Beginner classes. If a student decides to specialize in sabre, they will join the Sabre Program and attend twice-weekly Sabre Practices. These classes will expand upon their mechanical and technical foundations, with an emphasis on widening skillsets and understanding the tactical progression of sabre bouts.
Intermediate students in the Sabre program are strongly encouraged to compete at the Local and Regional levels. Participation in Sunday Conditioning is heavily advised (learn more).

Prerequisite: successful completion of the Beginner Class (or demonstrate commensurate experience/skill)

Club equipment is available, but personal gear is encouraged
Students should wear athletic clothes and gym shoes to each class. Water bottles are provided at the club, but we do recommend that students bring their own as well.
