Foil Coach
Coach Allison leverages her competitive expertise in foil and epee to enhance the development of our Foil program at Renard. She began her fencing journey in 2016 at Northern Illinois University and currently competes at local, regional, and national levels. Allison has a passion to grow the sport through her coaching and mentorship of our new athletes.
Coach Q&A
Q: Beyond coaching, what other experiences/achievements have you enjoyed within fencing?
A: I have served as president of the NIU Fencing Club, leading group classes and organizing tournaments with other local colleges and currently coach the beginner and intermediate foil classes at RFA. I enjoy working with various age groups and skill levels through these roles.
Q: What goals do you have in your capacity at RFA?
A: I hope to share my passion for fencing with others, helping students build their confidence and technical abilities as they work towards their fencing goals.
Q: Any fun facts you'd like to share?
A: I am a pediatric occupational therapist.
I enjoy cooking and playing the piano.
